The manager
and founder of Albanian Consulting is Dylber Vrioni. With extensive experience
as a policy maker in the public and private
sectors, Mr.
Vrioni served as the Governor of the Bank of Albania, the Minister
of Finance, the Deputy Prime Minister for economic reform, Minister
of Privatization and the President of the Italian Albanian Bank.
While
serving in the public sector Mr. Vrioni was one of the key
reformers of the Albanian economy and financial sector. He also designed
and
implemented the mass privatization strategy of Albania, negotiated
a solution to Albania's public and private debt. He was the founder
and the president of the first private bank, Italian Albanian Bank.
In addition he guided the implementation of VAT in Albania and worked
for the founding of the Albanian Share Register and the Tirana Stock
Exchange etc.
In 1997 he founded Albanian Consulting to provide business
advice services to small and medium Albanian private companies, showing
them how to survive in a difficult business environment and helping
them to achieve their development goals.
He also helped foreign companies
and organizations to successfully establish their activities in Albania.
Educated at the University of Tirana, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering,
he has extensive experience in the mechanical technology and construction.
Mr. Vrioni is fluent in English and Italian.
Lindita Vrioni is the chief
financial analyst for Albania Consulting.
She is a graduate of the
Department of Economic of the University of Tirana and also completed
specialized Market economics, Management and Financial Analysis courses
in Prague, Vienna and Bratislava.
Ms. Vrioni has experience in both
the governmental and private sectors. She served as a specialist in
the property restitution commission of the Municipality of Berat, the
bank supervision department at the Ministry of Finance and the strategic
Investment department at the Ministry of Privatization. She also served
as a financial controller and specialist in the Credit Department of
the American Bank of Albania. She is fluent in English and has a fair
knowledge of Italian.
